Bryan Evans has over 20 years experience in urban design and planning, landscape architecture, design consulting, project management, and public art. The foundation of his work is creative audience and public engagement. As Project Manager for Guide Studio, Bryan oversaw multiple wayfinding projects from planning to installation, including The City of Sandusky and Progressive Field in downtown Cleveland. In each instance, Bryan worked with clients to gain a deep understanding of their needs and worked to craft solutions that exceeded expectations, including working within tight budgets. Bryan’s consultancy, j Creative, focusses on community brand strategy, neighborhood-based planning and design projects, public art, and creative community engagement. Bryan’s accomplishments locally include the Birdtown Madison Masterplan, West End Public Art, and the Kauffman Park Masterplan.
Bryan has worked with numerous cities in Ohio and beyond to create brand, marketing, and communication tools and strategies. A graduate of the Ohio State University, Bryan chairs the Lakewood Public Art Advisory Board, and previously served a 5-year term as vice chairman of the City of Lakewood’s Architectural Board of Review.
