City Seeks Applicants For Anti-Racism Task Force
July 29, 2020Mayor George and Lakewood City Council are seeking applicants for the Anti-Racism Task Force. The purpose of the Task Force is to advise and work with the administration to ensure the value of anti-racism is foundational and unambiguously expressed in all city objectives, such as, safety, housing, education and culture, and community wellness.
The city is seeking nine (9) applicants with an interest in serving the community, a passion for the mission of the task force and come from a diverse background, that as a whole would be able to speak to each of these topics.
