Applicant Mark Common of M. Common Design, proposes the construction of a 15-foot x 11-foot pergola with an open roof. The placement of the pergola will reduce the side and rear yard setbacks to less than 3 feet. The property is in the R1L, Single Family Low Density Residential District.

Variance Request: The minimum required side and rear yard setbacks for accessory structures constructed of wood is 3 feet in the R1L district. The proposal reduces the side and rear yard setbacks to less than 3 feet. Pursuant to section 1121.10(a)(1) – additional accessory structure regulations (Ord. 32-16. Passed 9-6-2016).
