In 2022, it is planned to improve Hilliard Road from Riverside Drive (SR-237) to Warren Road (CR-226). This project will be funded by NOACA (Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) funds), Cuyahoga County and City of Lakewood. The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is the plan reviewing/approving agency and will administrate the project funds. The City of Lakewood hopes that by reaching out to the business owners, residents and public most affected by this project ahead of time, public feedback and recommendations may be considered and if appropriate, adjustments made before project plans are finalized.
