City of Lakewood to offer bricks from the former A-Wing of Lakewood Hospital on November 22nd and 23rd

The City has two truckloads of bricks from the former Lakewood Hospital A-Wing available for interested residents.

Bricks will be distributed by City staff and volunteers on Friday, November 22nd from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm and on Saturday, November 23rd from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Refuse & Recycling Facility located at 12920 Berea Road.

City staff and volunteers will be there to help safely distribute bricks during these times. If bricks remain after the initial distribution, the City will announce additional pick-up hours during the Refuse Department’s normal operations. The goal of this initial distribution is to ensure that interested residents have an opportunity to take a brick home before mass pick-ups occur.
