Lakewood Division of Aging Responds to the Changing Needs of Older Home Owners
August 24, 2017The City of Lakewood, Division of Aging is pleased to present a home-accessibility workshop series. Lakewood homeowners in their 50’sand 60’s who would like to make some changes now, so that they can remain where they are as they age are invited to attend these workshops.
Maximum Accessible Housing of Ohio’s Anderson Center for Accessible Living provides much-needed training and information on accessible housing for a wide range of audiences in Northeast Ohio, including seniors. The Anderson Center’s Senior Seminar Series is scheduled for September and October in Lakewood. Participants will have the opportunity to discover simple, affordable modifications for a safer home, kitchen, and bathroom, as well as best practices and resources.

These seminars will take place at the Woman’s Club Pavilion at Lakewood Park, 14532 Lake Avenue.
