This Election Day, Lakewood voters will have the opportunity to decide on five proposed changes to the City Charter, known as charter amendments.
These five amendments represent over two years of work, first by the citizen-led Charter Review Commission, and then by City Council. After a deliberative, open process, both bodies found common ground around these five specific changes and clarifications to our Charter.
