Summer Safety Days

Overview

Each year, the Lakewood Police Department and Lakewood Fire Department team up to host Summer Safety Days, a fun, educational program for children aged 4 to 10 and their parents or guardians. At the one-day sessions, kids will learn basic safety concepts, participate in fun activities,  and interact with Lakewood’s first responders and safety vehicles.

Sessions are four hours (10 AM to 2 PM) and will take place June 16 and 17, 2026.
